Tom specializes in assisting organizations with a full spectrum of human resource projects, programs, and training. Tom’s primary areas of focus are creating and sustaining effective teams, leadership and supervisory development, financial acumen, leading change, communication, talent management, organizational and employee development, performance management, coaching and mentoring, and employee engagement.
Before starting with ERC, Tom spent over 30 years with Diebold, Inc. where he held several roles, including Regional Finance and Controller positions, Organization Development, and Lean Six Sigma implementation. During his tenure there, he partnered with internal resources on efficiency projects saving millions of dollars, including a major transition to a team-based environment in Diebold’s service organization.
Using his business and financial experience, Tom introduces simple models and processes that allow participants to connect concepts and strategies to real-life applications. His true passion is helping people and organizations improve.
Tom possesses a unique blend of financial acumen, talent management, and process improvement techniques that are valued by all participants. He has designed and facilitated a full spectrum of customized training programs for clients spanning all industries.
Tom has an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree from Baldwin-Wallace College as well as a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at West Liberty State College. His professional development includes the Motorola Six Sigma Green Belt program, the Indiana University Leadership Diebold program, and the Case Weatherhead Diebold Sales Leadership program.
