Folly Patterson specializes in operationalizing vision.

Folly is passionate about connecting organizational needs with student and professional development services. Using her extensive background in higher education administration and workforce development, she designs and delivers exceptional training and consulting. Folly has subject matter expertise in managerial and supervisory skills, performance feedback, diversity, communication skills, and more.

In her previous role as Manager, Talent Content Development and Senior Trainer at ERC, Folly created and audited training content for the skill development of new and current leaders. She was the lead facilitator of the Supervisory Series: Fundamentals and Advanced courses and Backpack to Briefcase program. Folly also oversaw the discovery, onboarding, and coordination of ERC’s Training Team.

Prior to ERC, Folly served as a Talent Advisor for Cuyahoga County’s SkillUp program. In this role, she helped employers attract and develop talent through training.

Before this role, she worked as a fellow with the Cleveland Leadership Center and Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) to support the implementation of the Cleveland Plan for Transforming Schools, and with the Breakthrough Charter Schools to help develop their Cleveland Urban Teacher Residency program.

Folly holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wellesley College, a master’s degree in counseling from Springfield College, and an MBA in business management from Ellis University. She is certified in Myers–Briggs Type Indicator®.
