Sandy Sharrone
Sandy brings over two decades of accounting, HR, and financial experience to ERC. As our Controller, she is responsible for ERC’s finance management/planning, benefits administration, accounting practices/controls, and information technology
Sandy is a vital member of ERC’s management and leadership teams. She helps oversee our daily operations, cash management, business strategies, short and long-term budgetary goals, and HR practices. She also provides strategic direction and works to ensure our business objectives are achieved through financial analysis. An analytical problem-solver and leader, Sandy manages our finance and operations teams.
As Treasurer of ERC’s Board, Sandy manages the financial assets and liabilities of ERC. She also produces annual financial reports, including budgets and forecasting; maintains all accounting records, takes meeting minutes, and supervises the correspondence of Board meetings.
Sandy draws from her extensive experience leading the accounting and HR functions of multinational corporations. She has worked in a variety of industries, including automotive, defense, and medical devices.
Before joining ERC, she served AllTech Medical Systems America, Inc. as their Director of Finance, HR Manager, Corporate Secretary, and Treasurer. In this comprehensive role, she managed banking relationships and business relationships. She also oversaw all aspects of the accounting and HR departments, along with a successful implementation of a costing system through the use of an ERP.
Sandy earned her MBA from Youngstown State University, where she also received her certification in Enterprise Resource Planning systems with an emphasis on SAP. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Hiram College and a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in psychology from Kent State University. Sandy is also a notary public.
Outside of work, Sandy enjoys the outdoors. She enjoys hunting, fishing, archery, and gardening. Sandy sits on the Field Staff for Prois Hunting for Women, technical hunting apparel designed especially for women by women.
