Michael Karst assists employers by providing legal counsel and practical HR advice that enables employers to maintain positive, proactive workplaces.
Michael is a labor and employment attorney who exclusively represents employers in managing the full spectrum of workforce issues. Michael devotes a majority of his legal practice to litigating claims involving termination decisions, wage and hour compliance, and labor disputes. He also routinely counsels employers on day-to-day employment issues such as leave management, discipline, reasonable accommodations, and payroll practices.
Michael began his legal career representing employees in discrimination and harassment claims. That experience gave Michael insight into the reasons why employees most often file administrative complaints with the EEOC or pursue litigation. Michael uses his broad experience to train employers on the proactive steps they can take to avoid or efficiently resolve disputes.
