Kaylyn Hampshire

As a Research Associate on ERC’s Surveys & Research team, Kaylyn analyzes employee engagement data to help organizations turn complex findings into actionable strategies that strengthen culture, improve retention, and support overall performance. She specializes in employee engagement, retention, and commitment, using data-driven solutions to uncover insights into the practices that build and sustain great workplaces.
As a subject matter expert for ERC’s employee engagement consulting practice, Kaylyn oversees the design, administration, and analysis of member and client surveys, ensuring organizations receive clear, meaningful insights they can act on. Her work also includes analyzing and producing ERC membership poll reports and supporting the continued success of the NorthCoast 99 awards program through research, evaluation, and analytics. Through this work, she partners closely with organizational leaders to interpret data, identify opportunities, and implement evidence-based approaches that lead to measurable improvement.
Prior to joining ERC full-time, Kaylyn served as an HR Intern with the organization, where she supported employee engagement surveys and assessments, coordinated virtual and in-person training logistics, and assisted in producing learning programs through ERC’s learning management system.
Kaylyn earned her master’s degree in industrial-organizational psychology from the University of Akron and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Central Florida.
Kaylyn enjoys seeing organizations improve year after year as they implement positive changes and experience corresponding increases in employee engagement scores. She also values the opportunity to connect with organizational leaders, learn what has worked for them, and hear about the creative approaches they have explored.
Outside of work, Kaylyn enjoys traveling, discovering new restaurants, visiting theme parks and riding thrill rides, cooking, and experiencing Broadway shows and immersive theater.
