Employment Law – AM (Supervisory Series: Fundamentals)

Supervisors and managers have a shared responsibility with HR in making sure that their interactions and relations with employees are compliant with federal and state employment laws, and supportive of a positive workplace culture.  In this virtual, instructor-led training, participants will learn and discuss the following topics:

• Overview of the legal landscape
• Workplace discrimination and harassment
• Employee leaves of absence
• Employee performance issues

Participants will also receive job aids and resources to apply the skills and implement the best practices they learn. To accentuate the hands-on learning experience, attendees will journey through the yourERC Learning Portal.
