ERC Chairman Pat Perry Inducted into Cleveland Magazine Hall of Fame

ERC chairman Pat Perry has been named a 2018 Business Hall of Fame inductee by Cleveland Magazine. ERC provides research-based HR solutions, including training, consulting and other support services.

According to Cleveland Magazine, the Business Hall of Fame recognizes local individuals who have made a deep impact on their businesses and in the community. The other 2018 inductees are Dan and Pat Conway, co-founders of Great Lakes Brewing Co.

“The Business Hall of Fame not only celebrates the finest business minds in Northeast Ohio, but individuals whose commitment to good works uplifts the community and strengthens the economy,” sayid Lute Harmon Sr., chairman, Cleveland Magazine.

Harmon adds that induction into the Hall of Fame is recognition of leadership that goes beyond simple dollars-and-cents success. It signifies extraordinary expertise in business matched by extraordinary devotion to making the community a better place to live and work.

“I’m humbled to be inducted into the Business Hall of Fame. I’m grateful to have participated in the Northeast Ohio business community for over 40 years and have appreciated the opportunity to work with so many great people along the away. This is truly an honor,” said Perry.

Prior to becoming ERC’s chairman, Perry was president for 20 years. He guided the organization to national expansion and sustained profitability. Perry is known as an innovator in workplace practices, and is also co-architect of ERChealth and founder of the acclaimed NorthCoast 99 program. He is a keynote speaker, an author of two books, and has published over 300 business articles. Perry is also dedicated to giving back and has served a variety of industry and community organizations over the years.

“I honestly can’t think of anyone more fitting than Pat to be recognized for helping Northeast Ohio employers make great workplaces,” said ERC president Kelly Keefe. “His years of dedication to this cause will have a lasting impact on our community. Pat has been a tremendous asset to our region as a whole.”

The Business Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be held on Thursday, Nov. 8 at the InterContinental Hotel and Conference Center. This year’s event is sponsored by Meaden & Moore and SunTrust.
